Another edition of The Big 5 fair in Dubai has come to an end. It is the most important exhibition event in the Construction and Finishing of Buildings industry in the United Arab Emirates. This year, the fair was held on September 12-15 at the Dubai World Trade Center.

The Big 5 fair was very successful for Polish entrepreneurs. Polish construction and finishing industry was represented by nearly 70 entrepreneurs, including over 60 companies participating in the event as exhibitors. Polish companies took advantage of the opportunity to present their products and services at the National Stand by displaying catalogs and leaflets, as well as presenting promotional films.

Numerous activities promoting the industry were carried out at the National Stand, including meetings with an expert, and a special stand area was used by entrepreneurs to hold B2B meetings and conduct their own promotional activities. Polish entrepreneurs were supported by an expert present at the stand, Mr. Maciej Białko. The entrepreneurs could become familiar with the specificity of the UAE market thanks to the meeting with Mr. Adil Abdelwahab from the Polish Investment and Trade Agency, Foreign Trade Office in Dubai.

Moreover, the National Stand and the visualization of the Polish Pavilion on it promoted Poland’s participation in the World Expo 2020 Exhibition in Dubai.

The National Stand also hosted the Polish Evening, during which foreign guests could take part in quizzes and lotteries with prizes, try Polish sweets and listen to Polish performers.

The Big 5 fair is the second of six fair events as part of The Construction and Finishing of Buildings promotion program implemented in 2020-2022 by the Ministry of Economic Development, Labor and Technology, at which an information and promotion stand was organized.
